We were keeping patients safe
before it was cool

Delivering care in the age of COVID-19

Like most types of physicians, dentists, hygienists and their highly-trained support staff have had a long list of cleaning and sterilization tasks long before COVID-19 was ever a part of our vocabularies. Since opening our doors, every patient has entered our professionally cleaned waiting area and sat in a freshly cleaned chair. You have always been treated with a just-opened set of dental tools and, though you may not remember it, we performed most treatments while wearing masks! And all of these steps would be repeated for the next patient, often before you had time to leave our offices.

Taking our cleaning game to the next level.

While coronaviruses very likely predate the dinosaurs, and have always been factored into our cleaning practices, COVID-19 has caused all health care providers to take additional precautions to keep our patients safe and healthy. Here are just a few of the things we’re doing to make sure our patients stay safe and healthy:

  • Scheduling some breathing room

We schedule your appointment to create space between you and the other patients arriving for treatment, minimizing your wait time and limiting contact.

  • Health screenings for all

Pre-entry health screening and temperature check for patients and employees

  • Directing traffic

All patients enter our offices from Cadieux Rd. and leave via the parking lot exit, minimizing interaction and contact.

  • Limiting contact

We added airflow barriers to common spaces allowing us mitigate the risk of sharing germs without giving up the chance to share stories.

  • Masking up

Face shield and/or mask requirement for patients (unless seated for treatment) and employees delivering patient care.

  • Clearing the air

We added multiple redundant air purification systems to constantly clean the air of contaminants, including COVID-19.

If you have any questions about anything related to your dental care, our office, and our COVID-19 treatment protocols, please feel free to call 313-882-2300 and our staff will happily answer them.
